At Mountain View Academy, every student is expected to uphold the highest standards of discipline, responsibility, cleanliness, and respect both within and outside the school campus. The following guidelines are designed to help students grow into responsible, ethical, and successful individuals.
Seeking private tuition from school teachers requires the prior written permission of the Principal. Unauthorized arrangements are strictly prohibited.
Students are representatives of the school even outside campus. Any misbehavior in public places, on the way to or from school, or in uniform, will invite strict disciplinary action.
Students suffering from contagious or infectious diseases must not attend school until fully recovered and medically cleared.
Regular late-coming, frequent absenteeism, and carelessness in dress and conduct will be viewed seriously and recorded.
Disrespect, disobedience, or any serious breach of discipline towards staff or peers—inside or outside the campus—will be dealt with firmly and seriously.
Students are not permitted to offer gifts to teachers or school staff. Appreciation may be shown through good behavior and academic performance.
Students must maintain cleanliness and hygiene in their dress, appearance, and belongings. Torn, dirty, or unkempt uniforms will not be tolerated.
Promotion is based on attendance, academic performance, and active participation in all assessments including monthly tests and terminal exams.
Every student must bring their School Handbook daily and keep it updated. It is a vital communication tool between school and home.
Acts of physical aggression or bullying, whether inside or outside the campus, will result in strict disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion.
To improve communication skills, students are expected to speak only in English within the school campus.
Boys must maintain neatly trimmed haircuts. Long or unkempt hair will not be permitted.
Students bringing lunch should carry hand towels, napkins, and table mats to keep their eating area clean.
Good table manners must be observed during lunch. Students must avoid spilling, littering, or wasting food.
While the school provides clean drinking water, students are encouraged to carry their own water bottles for personal use.
Any student found in possession of another student’s belongings without permission will face immediate suspension.
These rules are in place to promote a safe, respectful, and progressive learning environment. Students must abide by them at all times, and violations will be addressed according to the school’s discipline policy.
