Parents’ Involvement

Parents’ Involvement

At Mountain View Academy, we firmly believe that parents are our partners in education. Their active involvement and consistent support significantly contribute to the overall growth and development of their children.

Parental Participation & Engagement

Authorized Access Only

Only parents or legal guardians are permitted to meet the teachers during these sessions. Relatives or third parties will not be allowed to represent the student in academic discussions unless prior permission is granted.

No Disturbance During Working Hours

To respect the academic schedule and allow teachers to focus on instruction and student evaluation, parents are not permitted to meet teachers between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., including the lunch break. Teachers remain engaged in classes, lesson preparation, and correction work during these hours.

Parents as Partners in Learning

Parents are considered a vital extension of the school community. Throughout the academic year, the school hosts various events where parental presence and participation are highly encouraged. These include:

  • Parent-Teacher Contact Sessions
  • Annual Day Celebrations
  • Talent Shows
  • Mini Sports Day and other school functions
Meeting with Teachers

Parents wishing to meet class or subject teachers may do so by visiting the school on Saturdays between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon, or during scheduled Parent–Staff Contact Sessions.
